Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Our founders committed themselves to "service to the world and to those within and without our circle." For over 35 years, Iota Rho has devoted our philanthropic efforts to fighting breast cancer through education, awareness, research, and by promoting breast health through ThinkPink. Monthly, we hold ribbon pass outs throughout East Carolina University's campus, where we hand out ThinkPink ribbons and educational pamphlets. Our biggest even is our annual ThinkPink Fashion Show, where breast cancer survivors, and their families, share their stories and shine for the night!

Philanthropy and service play a major role in the life of our chapter. it is one of the most important and fun things that we do together! Iota Rho has been recognized throughout North Carolina for our philanthropic work, and you'll see us "thinking pink" all over ECU!

Our overall mission is to spread the importance of breast cancer awareness and educate the community of Greenville, North Carolina. We believe that together, we can make 1 in 8 none in 8. Who do you think pink for?
